At Burnt Lab, special attention is given to the quality and safety of the materials used. Only high-quality clay and glazes suitable for everyday use are selected.
All glazes are lead-free and comply with safety standards, making the pieces safe for food contact. This means they can be confidently used for serving and daily use.
Each item is fired at high temperatures to ensure durability, strength, and resistance to moisture. Thanks to these properties, the ceramics are dishwasher safe, and most pieces are also suitable for microwave use (unless stated otherwise).
As every piece is handmade, slight natural variations may occur. These are not imperfections, but part of what makes each item unique.
